I’ve been staying near MassMOCA and not engaging much in the purposefully “modern” art scene because some of it is too– something– for me, but then there are times when the conceptual/social criticism aspect of modern art smacks you right in the face and it’s something you can really– well.
I’m not sure enjoy is the word for these, but they’re by an artist called Michael MacKay and they’re very thought-provoking. ($125.00 a pop, too.)
Are they cheaper by the dozen?
Is it art? It’s artful. It’s thoughtful. Maybe that’s all that counts.
