Happiness is the hot-as-hot weather breaking last night, because organic strawberries were $1.99 and I bought 16 lbs to make jam. It was a balmy 65F when I work up this morning, so it was on 80 by the time I had everything boiling.

At least everything sealed, and nothing exploded in the canning process. Now we’ll see if it sets. (It’ll still make damned tasty dessert sauce.)
