Today’s delightfully dorky activity

I’m going to print out business cards that have my number and email address on them along with the words … “Freelance Writer.”  Yeah, they’re the Avery kind that you have to tear apart, but pre-printed contact information is still important, dont’cha think?

congrats on your new career! I’m jealous… how did you get up the gumption to write those queries???

another option for great business cards is Vistaprint.com – I’ve ordered from there many times, and the cards come out great – you can order “slow mail” and it will come quickly anyway.

I was going to do that about 4 years ago when I decided that I was going into cake baking big time……..things didn’t quite work out that way in the end.
Best wishes and best of luck!

I don’t know what happened, but when I read your post the first time, I thought you said that you were going to have your name and contact info with the phrase:

    Retirw Ecnaleerf

    You know, “freelance writer” backward.

So I spent about 45 seconds wondering how people would react to your cards and getting kind of giggly about it. Then I re-read your post and was THRILLED for you. YAY, you! Go! Go! And wonderful about the interview. I can’t wait to hear more.

Now I will go investigate my cognitive dyslexia…

Congratulations on the new venture! I’ve always wanted business cards…Instead I have a dorky nametag.

Sorry I’ve not been commenting more, have been going to sleep nearly immediately after work.

I’ll be better in a few weeks.
