One of the childlike pleasures I eagerly pursue– to crunch the ice at the edges of snowbanks, along sidewalks and gutters. I love to feel it crumble underneath my shoes.
I love kicking and stomping through the leaves in the fall. There is something so satisfying about that *CRUNCH* under your feet. When I’m out tomorrow, I’m going to try it on th edge of the snowbanks and think of you.
I was just thinking the same thing! It had been warm, melting a bit, so the snow got icy. And then a fresh snow on top – the sound of the crunch under my foot is as wonderful as the feel of it.

I’ve always loved to do that, too!
You would love our weather here the last couple days then! Ice storm! Dory
ice and oak galls… and of course bubble wrap

Me too. I also like crunching crispy dead leaves.
