Early alert system

During the playoffs in Boston, I don’t even need to keep the Boston.com site up to see what the score is on the Sox game. All the yelling and whooping up and down the street as others watch the game on their TVs makes it unnecessary. I’m not a baseball fan (though I’d never turn down Fenway tickets, especially at night, since it is one of the more beautiful man-made places in the world), but so many of my clients are fans that I’ve got to read the coverage the next day if they win, so I can make small talk.

Judging by the whoops at 10:30 or so last night, after I’d already gone to bed? I’ve got some reading to catch up on.
