A little perspective

I’m feeling a little better, after a reminder this afternoon that there really always is someone worse off than you. So what if I quit, or get fired? I don’t need to go to the hospital, and I have people who support me.

Working on getting some sleep and having a relaxing weekend, wishing y’all the same.

Hello–I found you through the NaBloPoMo New England group, and then noticed you at Magpie’s place. (I live in Massachusetts, too. And have recently bonded with Magpie over vegetables.) So I felt compelled to say “hello.” I hope that you get your sleep and relaxation. I’m a strong supporter of both of those things.

I was going to respond on real mental, but then the post was gone. I think a life coach could be a good idea, or even a strongly cbt based therapist. A good one (of either ilk) should be able to guide you through the options, to see the pros and cons of changing jobs, to see your strengths, and to balance that with your life goals. Hope you’re getting some sleep- sleep is so gooood 🙂

Alejna, thanks for stopping by. I’ve been trading veggie recipes with Magpie, too. NYJLM, sleep is indeed good. I slept 10 hours last night, had a three hour nap today, and am feeling immensely better. I actually used to work with a career coach and I’ve taken the first step of sending her an email, asking if she’d have the time to work with me again. She was great, and I let the relationship lapse for no good reason.
