Good things

After yesterday’s deluge, when I almost expected to see the animals, all lined up, all lined up by twosies, twosies… today was the most gloriously clear, early fall day, with the sky that clear blue in a golden light that only happens in late August and early September. That light just won’t submit to photography– it’s something that can only be consigned to memory. The wind was ruffling the water on the Neponset River, and even the light glaring off the subway, crossing the bridge over the river, was blessed.
